Kiscelli Küzdősport Club, located in a 1938 built townhouse is a professional Thai-, kick-box and cross training club. More over a lot of people come to our Brazilian jiu-jitsu for learning ground fighting as well as for a relaxing yoga.
Beside national athletes, others come for learning self-defense to get some selfconfidence or just to get in shape. Professionals doing their daily workout, or someone just for the after work training, even a young mother feel very comfortable here. For kids we pay attention extra carefully.
The club success is strongly related to our background knowledge; our highly skilled trainers are not just teachers but competitors too. Our trainings are held in a friendly environment with kind and helpful coaches, thus our catchphrase is “we welcome everyone” is not just a joke. In the community we built the mood that recalls a classic sports club spirit.

The currently active competitor 'Ferkó' have succeeded not just in the ring but as a coach too. Lot of the youngsters who started the sport with him are national level competitors now. The team which consist of hobbyists from younger to older who find (or resumed) their joy in this rather complex sport.
Roli is dealing with martial art for 26 years. He was a Taekwondo competitor for 16 years, during this period he had 60 victorious match without any defeat. He extended his knowledge with Thai-, kick-box techniques in the last ten years. His trainings are held according to the Dutch Thai-, kick-box for beginner and advanced men and women. For kids there are separate trainings in his repertoire.
The profile range of Melinda is extensive, as the beautiful amazon is a highly talented boxer and a very motivational cross-trainer. As a professional boxer, she knows every useful method to help beginners to perform above their limits on the trainings. Our beauty queen is not only able to change on herself but has the ability to help others, plus according to her toughness in boxing she is able to surprise men as well.
Young, aspiring fighter who despite his young age, climbed to the forefront of K1 and Thai Boxing under a few years. During his workouts he takes seriuos attention to his pupils, he makes his sessions varied and exciting with the help of the newest training plans and methods used in the biggest racing- studs. He tries to develope each pupil individually.
The crossfit (crosstraining) is a modern functional form of training, where the human body reacts with exponential physical improvement on stamina, strength and speed. The aim of this type of training is to work with as many muscles as we can, beside these to improve the strength of nerves in order to protect the joints.
In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu the emphasis is on ground fights and final grips, which includes joint stretching and chokes. The principle is the following: the advantage of a bigger and stronger enemy is that their hands are longer which means they can hit harder, but its effect less during a ground fight.
We were one of the first who started calisthenics (body weighted trainings) in Budapest and since then this training form still have a big attention for this type of workout. We are constantly developing our body weighted workout programs, thus beside the classic elements of convict conditioning we introduce newer and newer elements to programs. Bodyweight training is living its renaissance nowadays.
Streching is a type of physical exercise, that should be part of everyone’s daily routine. Muscle relaxation could prevent plenty of musculoskeletal problems, which is nowdays pretty much an everyday issue for many people mainly because of the lack of muscle balance.
